Trekking permits, TIMS cards and restricted-area paperwork.
Nepal runs on paperwork, and most of it has to be filed in person, in Kathmandu or Pokhara, on a working day. We file it so that you do not spend the first two days of a trek in an office.
What we arrange
TIMS cards for the trekking regions. National park and conservation area entry permits — ACAP for Annapurna, Sagarmatha for Everest, Langtang, Chitwan and Bardia. Restricted-area permits for Upper Mustang, Manaslu, Tsum, Dolpo and Kanchenjunga. Tibet travel permits and the group visa for the Kailash circuit. Climbing permits for the trekking peaks.
What the restricted areas require
These are not a formality. A restricted-area permit is issued only to a group of two or more trekkers travelling with a registered agency and a licensed guide — a solo traveller cannot obtain one at any price, and the rule is enforced at the checkpost. The permits are priced per person per day, must be applied for before departure, and cannot be issued on the trail.
What we need from you
Passport copies, the visa page once you have it, and two photographs each. Send them ahead and the paperwork is usually ready before you land.
Permit costs are set by the government and can change without notice. We quote what they are at the time of asking and pass on the fee exactly as charged.
