Every vehicle we hire out comes with a driver. Self-drive is not something we offer, and on Nepali hill roads that is a deliberate decision rather than a limitation.
What we run
Cars and sedans for city work and airport runs. Scorpio and Bolero-class jeeps for the hills, for Mustang, Gorkha, Barpak and anywhere the tarmac stops. Electric vans for the Kathmandu valley, which are quieter, cheaper to run and no longer unusual. Air-conditioned buses and coasters for groups, weddings, school trips and pilgrimage parties.
Drivers
The roads that matter here — Prithvi Highway, the Mustang road above Beni, the switchbacks up to Bandipur and Gorkha — reward drivers who have run them for years and punish those who have not. Ours know the routes, the road conditions in each season, and where it is safe to stop. On long routes they know the tea shops and the mechanics, which matters more than it sounds.
How it is priced
By vehicle and by route, not per seat, so the cost is the same whether the jeep carries two people or six. Fuel, the driver and the driver's own food and lodging on multi-day hires are quoted up front. Where a route needs a permit or an entry fee, that is listed separately rather than hidden in the total.
